This section contains the current details regarding Student Rights and Responsibilities specific to Munster Technological University (‘MTU’) that previously applied at Institute of Technology Tralee (ITT) immediately before the establishment of MTU under the Technological Universities Act 2018 (hereafter ‘MTU (Kerry) Student Rights and Responsibilities’).

The MTU (Kerry) Student Rights and Responsibilities are as detailed in the section to follow and shall remain in place until such time as they are altered by way of amendment or replacement by MTU.

Where reference is made in the MTU (Kerry) Student Rights and Responsibilities to Institute of Technology Tralee, this should be read as referring to MTU (Kerry), unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Where reference is made in the MTU (Kerry) Student Rights and Responsibilities to a particular Office or Post this should be read as referring to the Office or Post that previously applied at Institute of Technology Tralee (ITT) immediately before the establishment of MTU on the 1/1/2021.
