Student Assistance Fund
The Student Assistance Fund is managed by the Higher Education Authority on behalf of the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science
The Student Assistance Fund (SAF) provides financial assistance for students in higher education who are experiencing financial difficulties whilst attending college.
Students can apply for Student Assistance to help them with either temporary or ongoing financial difficulties. The Student Assistance Fund provides a further source of funding for higher education students in addition to the Student Grant. However, it is not mandatory that SAF recipients are in receipt of a SUSI grant.
Information on applying for the fund will be available at Student Orientation and on Canvas, which is an electronic forum used by registered students of MTU Kerry Campus.
