Special Circumstances

The University may also consider for admission, applicants who applied through the CAO, but whose performance at the Leaving Certificate examination was affected by extraordinary circumstances such as bereavement, serious accident or serious illness.

Such applicants must provide, by way of documentary evidence in support of their application, that they are of a standard equal to that of other students admitted to the course. Relevant documentation must be sent to the Admissions Office, MTU Kerry Campus, by June 30th.

A letter of support signed by the Principal of the school you are currently attending must be appended to documentary evidence.
