Progression to Education in Aquatics 3 (full swimming teacher and lifeguarding qualification).

A part-time, two-semester (5 hours per week) course, with theory and pool-based content. This course includes significant pool practice and client-focused pool-based swim teaching practice. Achievement of the full aquatic Teacher qualification and Lifeguarding is subject to successfully passing the relevant examinations.

Applicants should be confident swimmers who have completed the level 1 Aquatic teaching qualification.

Progression to Education in Aquatics (4) Aqua fitness - REPs.

A part-time, one-semester (4 hours per week) course, with theory and pool-based content. This course includes significant pool practice and client-focused pool-based Aqua fitness teaching practice. Achievement of the REPS aqua fitness qualification is subject to successfully passing the relevant examinations to the required standard.

Applicants should be confident swimmers who have completed the full aquatics teachers qualification and Pool Lifeguarding course.
Progression Opportunities
Progression to Disability Swim Teacher and Halliwick Instructor.

A part-time, one-semester (4 hours per week) course, with theory and pool-based content. This course includes client-focused pool practice. Achievement of the aquatics teaching for people with disabilities qualification and Halliwick instructor qualifications are subject to successfully passing the relevant examinations to the required standard.

Demonstrate competence in the water.
Progression Opportunities
