About New Frontiers
New Frontiers is Ireland’s national entrepreneur development programme which is funded by Enterprise Ireland and is delivered at a local level by the Institutes of Technology. Launched in early 2012, IT, Tralee is one of the 13 Institutes of Technology providing budding entrepreneurs and start-ups with a package of supports to help accelerate business development and equip the entrepreneurs with the skills and contacts needed to successfully start and grow a company. The New Frontiers Entrepreneur Development Programme aims to support the creation of 100 high value, knowledge based, Irish owned businesses, each year.
In addition to providing entrepreneurs with training in all areas of business including financial management, market research & validation, business process, patenting, product development and sales training, participants can also avail of mentoring from experienced business advisers and practitioners. Kerry participants are based at the Tom Crean Business Centre located at the IT, Tralee North Campus for the duration of the programme.
